Virbac has appointed Rose Blades as regional sales manager for the north of England.
In her new role, she will work with the territory managers in the area, providing coaching and support to help them offer the highest level of service to their practices.
Mrs Blades joined Virbac in 2011 as territory manager for the North East, having gained several years’ experience in this role with other veterinary pharmaceutical companies earlier in her career.
She will report to Virbac’s national sales manager Bryan McCabe. Mrs Blades said: “I’ve enjoyed working with Virbac for the past three years because the breadth of our product range makes every day different.
“I am looking forward to the challenge of my new role and working with my team in a supportive role, helping them to develop their skills.
UK sales director Alan Chadwick added: “Rose has extensive experience in the veterinary market and excellent relationships with her key customers throughout the region.
“When you add these to her drive, energy and enthusiasm, it is clear she will be an asset to our customers across, to our companion animal management team and to the territory managers reporting into her.”
The veterinary pharmaceutical company recently launched Virtual Virbac, a new and interactive communications portal aimed at keeping practices up to date with the latest information on its products.
By scanning the Virtual Virbac image using the free Blippar app on a smart device, the image “comes to life”, enabling vets to interact with a range of clinical and support information on key Virbac products.
