Elanco Companion Animal Health, which recently launched into the UK, has announced a series of appointments, including a new national veterinary manager and various key account managers.

Elanco's new national veterinary manager, Anna Jackson.Anna Jackson, a veterinary surgeon and certified dermatologist, has been appointed as national veterinary manager. Mrs Jackson qualified from the Royal Veterinary College, University of London in 1998.

Following several years in equine and small animal first opinion practice, she then completed a clinical residency at the University of Bristol in veterinary dermatology between 2002-2005 and holds the RCVS certificate in veterinary dermatology.

During her residency, Mrs Jackson worked across all species and carried out clinical research projects in the areas of equine, canine and camelid dermatology.

Since leaving Bristol, she has held a technical role with Pfizer Animal Health; worked as a referral dermatologist both in private practice and at the University of Bristol Small Animal Hospital and worked in first opinion practice.

Other recent appointments include:

  • Mairi MacDonald joins Elanco as key account manager for the South West. She joins Elanco from Virbac and has a BSc (Hons) degree in Equine Science.
  • Kathryn Miller joins as key account manager for the West Midlands. She brings six years’ experience in companion animal sales from Intervet/Schering Plough and is a qualified veterinary nurse.
  • Harry Chapman joins Elanco with a number of years experience in the animal health industry in sales and marketing. He has a BSc (Hons) degree in psychology and has been appointed key account manager for the North of London and East Midlands.
  • Paula Slyusarenko has been appointed to Elanco as key account manager for the South East. Following a successful career in companion animal and equine sales working with Pfizer, Intervet and Hoechst, she moved to the Goddards Veterinary Group where she has spent the last three years as a regional manager.
