British veterinary pharmaceutical company Genitrix has appointed Angela Clark-Mayers to the new role of equine account manager. This new role has been created in response to growing demand for the company’s equine therapies, including HY-50 Vet, Irap and Osteokine.
Prior to taking on her new role, Miss Clark-Mayers was account manager for all Genitrix‘ equine and companion animal products in the South East of England and, prior to that, she had fulfilled the same role in Scotland.
She joined the company in 2006 from QCR Diagnostics, a veterinary laboratory equipment supplier, where she held a sales role.
Before moving into industry Miss Clark-Mayers was an equine nurse for ten years at Paton and Lee Equine Veterinary Surgery in Rivenhall, Essex. Having grown up on a farm she has owned her own horses for as long as she can remember and they have become her life-long passion.
Of her appointment, Genitrix marketing director Rob Watkins said: “Angela’s experience of working with horses makes her an invaluable asset to us – and to her clients. We see a real opportunity for Angela to help us build understanding of the range of equine treatments we offer and to provide an even higher level of service to equine vet practices across the country.”
