Liz Rawlings, previously tele-account team manager at the company, has taken on the newly created role, reporting to managing director Bob Parmenter.
A history graduate with five and a half years’ experience in animal health, Liz has worked at Dechra since 2006.
In her new role, her priorities will include the co-ordination of all media activities, as well as developing and implementing an overall corporate communications plan.
Commenting on her appointment, Liz said: “Effective internal and external communication is essential for Dechra to continue to grow and develop. I’m delighted to have this opportunity to help ensure that the company’s messages are engaging for the veterinary profession.”
