For the treatment of acute mastitis in cattle, vets have been advised they can now reach for abottle of Baytril Max following its newly approved licence for slowintravenous injection, daily for two days, at a dose rate of 5mg/kg.

Baytril Max is already licensed for the treatment of respiratory disease, including Mycoplasma bovis. However, vets are reminded that for this application, Baytril Max is administered subcutaneously in a single injection, at a dose rate of 7.5mg/kg.

For more information on Baytril Max and its applications, vets can telephone their Bayer Animal Health sales representative or telephone 01635 563000.
