London pet owners struggling to access everyday and specialist care at times that suit their busy schedules now have a convenient customer-focused solution at the new Clerkenwell Animal Hospital, which offers day, evening and weekend clinics and a 24/7 on-call service staffed by an experienced veterinary team.
The clinic, located in Clerkenwell, close to Farringdon Station, is also targeted at pet owners living the length and breadth of the Thameslink train network. Commuters can leave poorly pets in the clinic’s care before work, where they will be hospitalised, treated and available for collection during the evening rush hour.
In addition to usual domestic services (consultations, vaccinations, worming, dental treatments and micro-chipping etc) the clinic is equipped with the latest specialist CT, digital x-ray and ultrasound equipment to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of conditions.
By also offering the services of specialists in dermatology, orthopaedics, radiology, CT scans and ultrasound, the need for referral to another specialist clinic is often removed. The specialist team is growing and in the near future will include ophthalmology and oncology.
The team at Clerkenwell Animal Hospital have more than 50 years of combined experience treating small animals.
A spokesman said: “A global city of pet lovers like London deserves a world-class veterinary solution that didn’t exist in central London until now. We offer the specialists and equipment to help solve simple and complex diagnoses on-site, at times that suit busy, professional owners and with the capacity to house and care for patients during the day or overnight.”
