A cat missing for eight months has been reunited with her owners after being handed in to a veterinary practice 35 miles away from her home.
Last week a concerned member of the public found the cat in Shawlands, Glasgow and took her to the Pets‘n’Vets Family branch in nearby Pollokshaws.
Practice partner Oliver Jackson said fortunately the cat was microchipped, so they were able to identify her quickly and reunite her with her owners, having first checked she was in good health.
“Bubbles is remaining tight-lipped about her adventures, so it looks like how she wound up 35 miles from home will have to remain an unresolved mystery,” he said.
The Pets‘n’Vets Family operates a network of seven veterinary surgeries in and around Glasgow.
