World-renowned veterinary neurologist Rick LeCouteur will be the leading international speaker at this year’s London Vet Show, focusing on the subject of neurosurgery in small animal veterinary practices.

World-renowned veterinary neurologist Rick LeCouteur will be the leading international speaker at this year’s London Vet Show, focusing on the subject of neurosurgery in small animal veterinary practices.
 
Ric LeCouteur. BVSc, PhD, DACVIM, (Neurology), DECVNProf LeCouteur’s research interests include brain tumours and neuromuscular disease. He has more than 30 years experience in small animal neurosurgery working across Australia, America and Europe. Topics for 2010 include neuro exams, the use and misuse of glucocorticoids.
 
The show’s event manager Rob Chapman said: “We are excited to be working with Rick LeCouteur. We have incorporated content that our delegates suggested they would like covered to make sure that our programme is relevant to the everyday needs of the general practice vet. Our feedback about the content has been really positive and our research has highlighted Rick’s popularity as a key speaker on the subject of what to do when Phenobarbitone fails.”

The popular business lecture theatre will also be running again, with speakers such as Alison Lambert of Onswitch Ltd, Mark Johnson of Vetstream and Alan Robinson of Vet Focus.
 
The London Vet Show will take place in the Olympia National Hall on October 22 & 23.
