Bath Cats and Dogs Home is organising another Kennel Break challenge.
The challenge sees animal-loving professionals from the local business community trading places with the home’s four-legged residents and experience first-hand what it’s like to be behind bars.
On Friday, June 13, 20 like-minded business professionals from the Bath and Bristol business community will trade places with some of the dogs from the home.
So far, Kennel Break participants that are “in the dog house” include a vet, vet nurse and a bank manager.
With only a mobile phone and a laptop, inmates will put their influencing and negotiating skills to the ultimate test to try and raise £1,000 each before being released. The quicker they raise this money the quicker they will be handed their ‘get out of jail’ card.
Between them it’s hoped the Kennel Break inmates will raise £20,000; money that will go towards the care of the many animals here onsite.
The individual who raises the most money overall will be crowned “Bath Cats & Dogs Home Top Dog”. A commemorative plaque will be placed in the kennel and main reception area for members of the public to see.
With the exception of their laptop and mobile telephone, Bath Cats & Dogs Home will provide everything needed on the day including clean bedding, dog biscuits and WIFI.
