Paralympic icon and world record holder Danny Crates is to host the annual Veterinary Marketing Association (VMA) awards event at the Lancaster Hotel, London in March.

VMA chairman Claire Edmunds said: “Danny is widely considered one of the greatest British disability athletes of all-time. In a glittering career he won every major title including the Paralympic World Cup.

“Since retiring from international athletics Danny has built a reputation as a leading motivational/inspirational speaker – delivering keynote presentations around the world.

“With around 350 veterinary and animal health marketing professionals attending this prestigious event, we’re delighted he will be hosting our guests this year,” added Ms Edmunds.

“We have 16 awards spanning all aspects of veterinary marketing, including Young Marketer of the Year, and the event is open to everyone to enter and attend, including members and non-members of the VMA. So whether you work in practice or industry, this is an event not to be missed.”

Closing date for entries

The last date for entry submissions is 10 February, and 31 January for the young marketer award. The event takes place at 12pm on Friday 17 March 2017.
