As part of its latest campaign – “The Great Fibre Revival”, aimed at increasing awareness of the importance of a high fibre, low sugar diet for rabbits – Supreme Petfoods is hosting four free “lunch and learn” sessions at BSAVA Congress 2013.
Renowned exotics expert Molly Varga will cover three current hot topics on rabbit nutrition: selective feeding, dietary sugar and fibre content, and obesity.
Time will be made available for questions so that attendees can discuss particular subjects in further detail.
These seminars will be held in the Boulton Room, Austin Court, at:
- 12:10-1:00pm and 1:10-2:00pm on Thursday, April 4
- 12:55-1:45pm and 2:00-2:50pm on Friday, April 5
Providing husbandry and nutritional advice for rabbit owners is becoming an increasingly important part of preventative healthcare services in general practice. Rabbits are the third most popular mammalian pet; there are approximately 2 million of them now in the UK.
Feeding pet rabbits a well-balanced diet is probably the single most important factor in maintaining their health and preventing the commonest diseases affecting them.
In support of the attendees’ nutrition, Supreme will be laying on a complimentary lunch for attendees.
To book a place, e-mail email@example.com with details of which session you would like to attend. Places are limited and may be allocated by ballot.
