Booking has opened for a workshop on companion animal behaviour taking place next month.

The workshop is being organised by the Central College of Animal Studies and will be held at its premises near Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk on Friday, January 9. It costs £95.

The college says it is suitable for vets, veterinary nurses, trainers and behaviourists.

Guest speakers will be Loni Loftus, who has worked in equine training and behaviour for more than 10 years; and Karen Wild, who has 17 years’ experience in animal behaviour, specialising in dogs, and is a member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors.

Subjects covered will include canine evolution, selection and variation, key concepts about how animals learn and behave as they do and canine origin and domestication.

Delegates will receive a CPD certificate of attendance and lunch will be provided. To book a place or for more information email lisa.bebbington@ccoas.org.uk
