Plasticine pals Wallace and Gromit have joined forces with The Kennel Club Charitable Trust and Foresters to raise money to help sick children across the UK and to make a difference for dogs.
 
During March and April, Wallace and Gromit’s Children’s Foundation and The Kennel Club Charitable Trust are giving people the chance to take part in one of three dog walks taking place in Bath, Essex and London. Wallace and Gromit take a walk with a friend from Foresters.Bring your friends and family – and don’t forget the dogs!
 
With three walk distances to choose from (1.5km, 3km, and 5km), a cracking Wallace and Gromit award for every dog taking part, plus fun and treats for all the family at the finish line, A Grand Day Out is a fun way for dog lovers of all ages and abilities to help sick children in hospitals and hospices and dogs in need of your support.

Participants are asked to raise a minimum of £25 or make a donation of £5 at the event.
 
Mike Townsend, chairman of The Kennel Club Charitable Trust said: “These three fundraising walks will give the public the rare opportunity to help both children and dogs by having fun, keeping fit, socialising their dogs and meeting new people. We hope that this is just the start and that we can introduce more exciting fundraising walks in the future.”

Every penny raised will be used to help sick children in hospitals and hospices accross the UK and make a difference for dogs.
