Elanco has recruited a new technical team to support its expanding companion animal division.

Jessica McNamara has joined the firm as a technical consultant, with a particular focus on the surgery, specialist and equine portfolios.

Jessica graduated from the Royal Veterinary College (RVC) in 2005 and completed an equine internship at The Equine Veterinary Hospital in Arundel before working in general practice for several years.

She then worked for Pfizer Animal Health as an office-based technical manager responsible for the anaesthesia and pain management portfolio. Following a return to general practice, she has now joined Elanco. Her clinical interests include internal medicine, especially feline practice, anaesthesia and pain management.

Jonny Lambert
is also a technical consultant with a specific focus on the dermatology, parasitology and equine portfolios. Having graduated from the RVC in 1999, he worked in general practice as a veterinary assistant until 2006.

He then worked in the companion animal division of Pfizer Animal Health for seven years as a field-based technical advisor.

This was followed by a spell back in mixed practice before joining Elanco. His clinical interests include small animal dermatology and internal medicine.
