Members of the profession have until October 3 to make their nominations for Equine Vet of the Year 2009.
Entries should be in by October 3. A short list will be drawn up from the nominations by an independent panel, and the winner will be announced and receive their award at the Animal Health Trust Equestrian Awards in London on November 5.
The awards have been billed as the perfect opportunity to nominate vets who have gone above and beyond with their care of horses and owners.
Andrew Dobson of The Barn Equine and Large Animal Practice in Great Wakering, Essex, is the current 2008 Equine Vet of the Year. He was nominated by a number of his grateful clients, and judges were impressed with his glowing testimonials.
