The VPMA and SPVS will be showing strung out managers how to cope with stress on a one-day course next month.

Delegates will learn how to cope better with stress.

Stress Management for Productive Practice” is being run in partnership with Zoetis and Royal Canin on March 18 at Staverton Park in Daventry.

Carolyne Crowe will describe techniques and skills to combat the impact of stress at work and build resilience. The course is aimed at anyone who feels their working environment is more stressful than it should be or who wants to improve the working environment for those they work with.

The course will be highly participative and outline the differences between pressure, stress and burnout with an introduction to DISC behavioural profiling to understand yourself and others better. DISC is said to improve effective communication, reduce misunderstanding and help with the stress of working with others.

The day will start at 10am and finish at 4.30pm. CPD certificates, lunch and refreshments are included. The course costs £190 for SPVS/VPMA members or £265 for non-members.
