The first non-surgical neutering conference in Europe will take place in Portugal on July 1 – the day before the ISFM European Congress opens in the city of Porto.
The day will offer delegates the chance to learn more about non-surgical fertility control, including:
- its history
- products available and under development
- regulatory considerations
Also to be discussed is the $75m (£48.39m) investment to make a single-treatment, non-surgical, permanent sterilant a reality.
The event – the first dedicated to cats – is being organised by the International Society of Feline Medicine (ISFM), the veterinary division of International Cat Care, working with the Alliance for Contraception in Cats and Dogs.
For this day only, there is a special discounted charity rate making it more accessible for charities to learn about the latest feline fertility control methods, while those attending the ISFM European Congress get in free.
