Premier Vet Alliance (PVA) has launched a new service to increase client awareness of the importance of booster vaccinations.
Already trialled within practices, the compliance project is designed to complement existing reminder protocols, and owners are only contacted by the PVA customer care team once they have passed through the practice’s existing reminder system.
The care team, which receives support and training from Virbac, Pfizer, MSD and Merial, will then book appointments directly into the practice management system.
SMS messages will also be sent out and, in addition, PVA also offers an optional data cleanse service to verify clients’ names and contact details and update lists of registered and deceased animals.
Member practices wishing to use the service pay for completed appointments, while access to PVA’s Microsoft Dynamics CRM system for managing client records is also included.
PVA development director Andy Taylor said: “Our focus is on helping vets improve their business practices and compliance, while allowing them to be vets; raising the game within the veterinary community.
“By combining both elements, we help improve both profitability and clinical standards. Both are essential factors for a sustainable practice.”
