RCVS veterinary investigator Pam Mosedale will be giving a talk on clinical governance and the codes of professional conduct at the Veterinary Business and Management Congress on January 25, 2013.

Pam MosedaleDuring her talk, Pam, who is also a former senior Practice Standards Scheme inspector, will focus on practical examples of what can be done to meet the RCVS requirements on clinical governance, as set out in the codes.

The Veterinary Business and Management Congress is jointly organised by the Veterinary Practice Management Association (VPMA) and Society of Practising Veterinary Surgeons (SPVS) and will take place at the Heythrop Park Resort, near Oxford, from January 24-26.

Delegates who cannot attend the talk are invited to learn more about the code requirements at the RCVS stand (stand 7), where they can also see a demo of the online Professional Development Record, which is designed to support vets and VNs in planning and recording their CPD.

Free calculators printed with the URLs of the online Professional Development Records (www.rcvs-pdr.org.uk or www.vnpdr.org.uk) are also available from the stand as a reminder of these internet addresses.
