Vets Now will open the doors to its 37th dedicated out-of-hours emergency clinic on January 25. The clinic will be based at Vets4Pets in Moor Lane, Preston, and will be open at nights, weekends and all public holidays.

Vets Now open 37th OOH clinicVets Now works in partnership with over 400 veterinary practices in the UK to provide them with an out-of-hours emergency service and the company will be working with a number of veterinary practices in the area to deliver this extension to their daytime service.

Richard Dixon, Vets Now founder and group managing director, said: “It is a fact of life that some pets will take ill or have an accident outside normal veterinary practice hours. By working in partnership with daytime practices in Preston, we can relieve them of the pressure of having to deal with middle-of-the-night emergencies and by using the service, it also allows the vet to focus purely on their daytime work.”

“Our team specialise in emergency and critical care medicine and only ever work out of hours, ensuring they are always fresh and ready to deal with the variety of emergencies which tend to be presented out of hours. We’re delighted to be opening the clinic at the end of the month and are looking forward hugely to working with veterinary practices in the Preston area.”

The new Vets Now clinic will be based at Vets4Pets, 90 Moor Lane, Preston, PR1 1JQ and will initially be providing an out-of-hours service for Vets4Pets, the Arcade Veterinary Centre, AJ Hutcheson, Abbey Veterinary Centre, and the Riverbank Veterinary clinic.
