Delegates from across the country and a few from even further afieldtook advantage of well presented lectures and workshops, which ran forthree days from October 9 at Kettering Conference Centre inNorthamptonshire.
Senior vice president Bonny Millar said: “I thought congress had a vibrant atmosphere and it was good to see the lecture halls full and the topics so relevant for nurses in practice. The speakers challenged the delegates and it’s evident that they take their CPD requirments seriously.”
BVNA spokesperson Angela Mariconda also wished to thank everyone for helping make the event such a great success.
She said: “Just fewer than 1,300 delegates registered to attend lectures, workshops, visit the exhibition and join in with the social programme. BVNA were delighted that so many people had a flutter on the Friday evening’s ‘Race Night’ which helped raise money for BVNA’s charity of the year, ‘SARDA Wales’.”
The race night raised £180.
