The British Small Animal Veterinary Association (BSAVA) has launched additional practical workshops to this year’s congress, following a rise in demand.

Vets and veterinary nurses can book their place on additional workshops that cover cytology, suturing, dressing, supporting the trauma patient and blood smear interpretation.

BSAVA warns spaces are likely to fill up fast and urges delegates to book places soon to avoid disappointment.

The practical sessions with limited places still available include:

APRIL 09, 2015
09:30am-12:30pm – Veterinary practical: cytology workshop (
Lodges, Austin Court)

13:50pm-14:35pm – Nursing practical: suture and staple workshop
 (Crompton Room, Austin Court)

APRIL 10, 2015
13:50pm-14:35pm – Nursing practical: what dressing for which wound
 (Telford Room, Austin Court) 

APRIL 11, 2015
9:00am-12pm – Veterinary practical: supporting the trauma patient
 (Telford Room, Austin Court).

13:50pm-14:35pm – Nursing practical: practice your blood smear interpretation
 (Crompton Room, Austin Court).
