Animal Cells and SystemsAnimal Cells and Systems, the official journal of the Zoological Society of Korea (now known as the Korean Society for Integrative Biology), is an international, peer-reviewed journal publishing original papers that cover diverse aspects of biological sciences including bioinformatics and systems biology, developmental and physiological biology, ecological and population biology, evolution and systematic biology, molecular and cellular biology, and neurobiology.

Taylor & Francis (part of Informa, one of the world’s leading publishers of academic journals) publishes 1,300 scholarly journals in association with 340 learned societies and scholarly institutions.

The journal joins a growing list of titles being managed from Taylor & Francis’ Asia Pacific offices, and will benefit from an online submission system (helping to further internationalise authors) and immediate online publication via the informaworld platform.

Myungchull Rhee, editor-in-chief of Animal Cells and Systems, said: “The journal aims to enhance exchange and communication of scientific discovery in fundamental biological phenomena through a fast and constructive review and publication system, becoming a leading journal accommodating forthcoming findings in the corresponding areas.”

Taylor & Francis will publish Animal Cells and Systems from Volume 14 (2010). Back issues can be viewed online at http://www.animalcells.or.kr/kjbs/.
