Staff at Ardene House Veterinary Hospital have raised more than £4,000 by selling merchandise, holding a dance and white water rafting.

THE team from Ardene House Veterinary Practice has just completed a monumental fund-raising effort in aid of Hounds for Heroes.

Vets, vet nurses and auxiliary staff at the Aberdeen hospital have raised £4,020 by selling Hounds for Heroes merchandise, organising and holding a ceilidh and from a sponsored white water rafting event.

Nicola Summers is an RVN at Ardene House and helped organise the event.

She said: “We are absolutely delighted with the way everything went, and of course the fantastic amount of money raised.

“When we set out to do this we hoped we might raise £1,000, so to raise more than £4,000 is a great effort and we would like to thank everyone from colleagues, clients and friends who gave us their support.”
