Nic Ilchyshyn BSc(Hons), BVSc, MRCVS, graduated from the University of Bristol in 2007 and worked at the University of Peradeniya in Sri Lanka, before spending six years as a mixed vet in north Wales. In 2015, he started a residency in clinical pathology at Dick White Referrals in Newmarket.

In 2018, Nic became a fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists and in 2019 he became a diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Pathology.
