Kelly Bowl BlacklockKelly Bowlt Blacklock graduated from The University of Edinburgh in 2005. After 18 months in small animal general practice, she completed a rotating internship at the RVC and a three-year European College of Veterinary Surgeons-approved residency programme in the small animal surgery at the University of Bristol.
Kelly joined the AHT in 2011. She sits on the committee for the Association of Veterinary Soft Tissue Surgeons and her interests include minimally invasive surgery, trauma management and reconstructive/oncological surgery.
In addition to clinical work, she is undertaking a part-time PhD on the “Application of genomics to identify novel prognostic biomarkers for canine cancers” at the AHT’s Kennel Club Cancer Centre.
