Webinar Plus: Pain management in small animal practice
This course is available online. Please see below for more details on how to attend this course via the Internet.
This webinar-based course aims to equip participants with a thorough knowledge of small animal pain, its deleterious effects on patients and approaches to its assessment. The course will then explore the treatment options available for both practice and home use together with their advantages and disadvantages. Real case examples will be used where possible to reinforce the practical nature of pain medicine.
The course will run online over four weeks and consist of a mixture of weekly webinars, online self-assessment exercises, supplementary reading material and discussion forums involving the tutors and veterinary colleagues from around the world. Participants can earn up to 16 CPD hours. It will also be useful CPD for veterinarians preparing for the RCVS CertAVP C modules in small animal anaesthesia and analgesia and critical care and analgesia.
