Webinar Plus: Feline endocrinology
This course is available online. Please see below for more details on how to attend this course via the Internet.
In the past decade significant advances have occurred in the field of feline endocrinology. Achieving diabetic remission is now, rightly or wrongly, heavily promoted, the treatment of hyperthyroidism now has an additional option available to the clinician (but which option is best?) and acromegaly is now recognised as a severely underdiagnosed endocrinopathy in diabetic cats.
In summary – lots to discuss! This online course will run over four weeks. Learning material will be a mixture of two hour weekly webinars (which can be viewed live and/or as recorded versions throughout the course), online case assessment exercises, supplementary reading material and discussion forums involving the tutors and veterinary colleagues from around the world.
The course will be of interest to small animal practitioners with a reasonable feline case load and would also be useful preparation for CertAVP modules in small animal or feline medicine. Participants can earn up to 16 CPD hours.
