Taking place at the wonderful Manor by the Lake, Cheltenham, Phil Strom’s lecture – ‘PIECING TOGETHER PULMONARY PATTERNS: clinically relevant thoracic radiography’ is a clinically relevant review of how to recognise the various pulmonary patterns, different diagnosis for each pattern and how to prioritise these differentials to make a clinical/radiographic diagnosis.
Georgina Beaumont will be presenting ‘STAYING ALIVE:anaesthetic and analgesic for thoracic procedures’ – Thoracic and pulmonary procedures present many challenges to the anaesthetist. Significant blood-gas, haemodynamic and nociceptive changes may occur as a result of both pathology and procedures. Advanced anaesthetic techniques are frequently required. The management of these complex and challenging cases will be discussed.
Each evening event includes both sessions and equates to 2 hours CPD. Lectures start at 7.30pm with a free buffet supper served from 7pm.
