Two days specifically designed for student veterinary nurses preparing for their practical examinations (OSCEs) are to be hosted by the Central College of Animal Studies.
Taking place on Saturday 4 June and Saturday 24 September, the preparation days will give veterinary nursing students the chance to hone their skills under expert supervision.
With a focus on practical preparation, OSCE examiners will run through tasks to make sure that students feel confident with the techniques required.
The preparation days are suitable for all students undertaking the Central Qualifications or City and Guilds nursing programmes.
Clinical coaches can also benefit from the events, which will provide an insight into the examination format and tips about what examiners are looking for when marking.
The preparation days will be held at Ipswich Veterinary Centre on Saturday, 4 June and Saturday, 24 September from 09:30 to 15:30 at a cost of £155.
