Quick and accurate diagnosis of abdominal cases requiring emergency surgery is critical to a patient’s survival.
Heather’s lecture will outline a diagnostic approach to the acute abdomen to aid the clinician in identifying emergency surgical cases. In addition, strategies to improve outcomes will be explored including pre-operative stabilization and critical post-operative care.
Each event includes both sessions above and equates to 2 hours CPD. Lectures start at 7.30pm with a free buffet supper served from 7pm.
