This online course will review and update anaesthesia and related physiology. The course is targeted at nurses who want to refresh their knowledge and investigate some of the recent advances in anaesthesia. It would also be suitable for student veterinary nurses who have some experience and have completed their anaesthesia modules of the NVQ level 3 course and are keen to develop this area of their clinical work.
The course will provide a very practical approach to the realities of general practice with a strong focus on developing the role of the nursing profession in this key area of clinical work.
The course will run for nine weeks. It is anticipated you will need to spend two to three hours per week on the course and can earn up to 25 CPD hours. Online activities will include a weekly recorded webinar, sharing clinical experiences through discussion forums and self assessment tasks
