ECG Interpretation Workshop
Stratford upon Avon
Aimed at nurses of all levels, this course will provide an overview of heart disease and heart failure, and will look at the specific nursing required to deal with patients in all stages of disease. The remainder of the day will focus on electrocardiography (ECG) interpretation. Starting with how to record the ‘perfect’ ECG trace, there will be an explanation of how the conduction system of the heart works, and then an interactive workshop will look at many different ECG traces, based on those that are commonly seen in veterinary practice. Special emphasis will be placed on ECG interpretation during anaesthesia. The final section will look at life threatening arrhythmias.
