About this course
This course provides you with the knowledge on how to handle uncooperative dogs, including both theoretical and practical training.
This is an intensive course, limited to small numbers of delegates with classroom work & practical sessions.
The morning sessions cover the theory of handling dogs, legal aspects of dog handling, health & safety, and basic animal first aid. The afternoon is a practical animal restraint session at a kennel.
This course will give you skills and confidence for a career in dog handling – such as an animal warden or kennel staff.
(N.B – Delegates will not handle ‘high risk’ animals in the practical session.)
