Ellesmere Road, Albrighton
Speaker: Andrew Parry
Fees: BSAVA Member £246.00
Non Member £369.00
This course is designed for those veterinary surgeons in general practice that want to get to grips with the basics of diagnostic interpretation. It will encompass a whistle stop tour of basic physics and image production, and how this pertains to modern day computed and digital imaging options, as well as conventional film screen radiography.
We will then discuss the multiple factors that can make a big difference in performing radiography to improve image quality and help to produce the most informative and diagnostic radiographs with minimum effort.
The course will also cover some key points to remember when it comes to performing radiography safely in the UK, and will give an overview of the UK safety guidelines.
No radiology course will be complete without some image interpretation and so the basics of normal anatomy and common disease recognition will be covered. This part of the course will be interactive.
The course aims to give practitioners a boost in their confidence in interpreting radiographs so that they may return to practice inspired.
