A grade-five classically trained singer, Nigel has enjoyed a varied career, including time as a freelance web designer, a roofer’s labourer (despite being scared of heights) and manager of an internet café.
Prior to joining VBD he was press officer for a music PR company, working with artists as diverse as Metallica, Faith No More, Nirvana, Human League, Alice Cooper, Deacon Blue, The Wonder Stuff and… erm… George and Zippy from Rainbow.
Nigel’s career in veterinary publishing began in 2005 when he joined VBD as a news and feature writer for Veterinary Times – a role he relinquished in 2009 to become editor of VBD’s veterinary-specific website, progressing to the role of digital content manager in 2014.
